They used to have really fresh chicken that was good but it's gone downhill. The guy that cooks it and runs the store would always make you fresh chicken and bragged about it. Not the case on the last few trips. I asked how old the breasts were and he told me hours old. He wouldn't make new food and let me tell you, the breasts aren't cheap. A similar incident happened again but I'm a sucker for fried chicken and went back in hoping for the best. Before I could make it inside a girl's loose pitbull charged me the second I got out of the car and bit at my now raised forearm. I look up to see the girl walking towards me chastising me about her dog since I had interrupted her conversation with the employees. I tell this to the cook/store manager type and he also gets mad at me, demanding I show him an ID. This is all after I've spent hundreds (if not more) on their overpriced six packs because we support small business. About this time the other employees come in scowling and making comments. After a few feisty comments I headed out the door and the girl/dog were no where to be seen. Needless to say, I haven't been back. Hopefully that poor dog has found a better owner that will relieve some of the anxiety it was no doubt suffering from her neglect. I doubt I'll go back anytime soon which is really disappointing because the place has a lot of potential.
