A wonderful place, great value

I'm a single older woman who has been staying at the Phoenix Motel for weeklong periods while visiting an ailing family member. The proprietor is accommodating and responsive, the bed is comfortable, the full kitchen is a real cost-saver, the place is safe and spotless. The Phoenix Motel is a marvel, and only minutes from Medford and Ashland.
Very average motel in a small City. The pool was much less than advertised, and our check-in attendant was not particularly cordial. Nothing terrible, but i had reservations with setting my clothing on the floor. I'm sure it's clean, but it seemed reasonable that it might not be.
I was visiting strictly on business. It is located across from the cutest little coffee shop!
